The house
The farmhouse was renovated top to bottom in 2026. Two king bedrooms, a loft with two twin beds, one bath, and a game room that earns its keep when the weather turns.
One king bedroom and the bathroom are on the main floor; the second king bedroom and the loft are upstairs under the eaves. The drive comes right up to the porch, with room for the boat, and the wifi is fast enough to work from if you have to.

The lake
Safe Harbor Jamestown and State Dock for boat and pontoon rentals, one down the road and the other about fifteen minutes. Wolf Creek Dam and the fish hatchery below it, and a dollar store with a grocery section right next door for whatever you forgot to pack.
February here is quiet, and that is the point. The game room, the fire pit, a full kitchen and a house you do not have to share. Hunting season, the holidays, and weeks where the only plan is not having one.
Our story
We bought the farmhouse in 2026 with one idea: a place near Lake Cumberland that families would want to come back to. Somewhere worth driving to, not just a place to sleep between boat rentals.
So we spent the year putting it back together: dark green board-and-batten outside, cedar posts across a new front porch, and a full renovation inside. Then we added what we would want on our own trip: a real game room, a fire pit, and room to park the boat.

Exterior security cameras cover the driveway and the front entrance. No camera monitors any indoor area and no camera views the interior of the home. There are no cameras or recording devices of any kind inside the house.
